The Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 competition has reached its halfway point, having gone through several rounds, including the national preliminary round in two major cities: Hanoi (June 15, 2024) and Ho Chi Minh City (June 9, 2024), with over 300 contestant applications.
After two preliminary rounds, 60 outstanding girls were selected to advance to the semi-finals of the competition. The semi-final round will take place in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province from June 29, 2024 to July 8, 2024, with the final night held at the town square in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province on July 6, 2024.
Here, the contestants participated in experiential activities, exploring tourism in Sa Pa while honing the necessary skills to prepare for the Semi-Finals. After the Semi-Finals, the organizers selected the 38 most outstanding girls to advance to the Finals of the competition, which took place at Green Dragon City urban area, Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province.
The final round will take place from July 9th to July 20th, 2024. During this time, the contestants will embark on their next journey exploring tourism and experiencing the culture of Quang Ninh, the mining region. The first impressive activity for the 40 contestants in Cam Pha will be participating in the Vietnam Fashion Tour – a highly attractive fashion show organized by Da Phong Cach Media Joint Stock Company, which will take place on July 12th, 2024.
Following this, in the final round of the competition, the contestants visited, experienced, and offered incense at the "Cua Ong Temple Relic Site," paid tribute to the heroic soldiers and those who contributed to the revolution at the "Vung Duc Cave Tourist Area," offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site, and visited the Deo Nai mine - Deo Nai Coal Company. The top 40 contestants also participated in the "Cleaning the marine environment, preventing plastic waste" activity, in response to the movement to build "Cam Pha City - A city without waste, clean, beautiful, and safe."
The semi-final night was held at the stadium in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province on July 6, 2024.
The National Finals took place on August 3rd, 2024, at the square in the Green Dragon City urban area – Cam Pha – Quang Ninh, with the top 40 most outstanding girls competing. The girls went through three rounds of competition: Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), Bikini, and Evening Gown. After the rounds, the judges selected 8 special awards and the top 3 winners.

The grand finale featured top Vietnamese singers: Ho Ngoc Ha, Tuan Hung, and Ung Hoang Phuc. Particularly noteworthy was the appearance of familiar beauty queens from the Vietnamese entertainment industry, such as Miss Ngoc Han as the MC throughout the program, Miss Giang My as a judge, Miss H'Hen Nie as a judge, and MC Thao Van as a member of the judging panel. In addition, accompanying Miss Ngoc Han was MC Danh Tung, a familiar face to television viewers.
The National Finals will take place on August 3rd, 2024 at the square in the Green Dragon City urban area – Cam Pha – Quang Ninh.
