The jury of the Northern preliminary round included leading experts in the fields of fashion, art and entertainment such as People's Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh - Chairman of the jury, Lawyer Nguyen Chien - Chairman of the contest's advisory board, MC Thao Van - member of the jury. The jury evaluated the contestants based on many strict criteria such as appearance, performance ability, communication skills and understanding of Vietnamese culture and tourism.
