The 2021 Christmas Concert is organized by Operaphillia - a group of young artists and vocal students from art schools in Hanoi, sharing the same passion for Opera and Classical Vocal Music. The group was established in October 2020 and has previously organized a number of concerts in Hanoi with the aim of using music and art to bring spiritual values to society, building and enhancing culture for the community.
Since early December, the group has started promoting their Christmas concert event at Hanoi Cathedral, however, due to the pandemic situation, the number of audiences has been limited and it is not possible to satisfy the large number of people who are looking forward to participating in the program, so the group decided to cooperate with Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) to open another music night here on December 25.

Today, all over the world, in the training curriculum of many conservatories, at famous concert halls or in ancient cathedrals, people can listen to hymns in the programs of many famous singers and artists. Operaphilia and VCCA will bring to classical music lovers hymns, arias from operas, oratorios, and grand choral pieces that are masterpieces of Handel, Vivaldi, Mozart, Verdi, Dvorak,... as a warm gift this Christmas 2021.
