Quarantine regulations were relaxed in May, but borders remained closed until the end of the summer. To offset the loss of the $32 billion tourism industry, the government launched the Vietnamese Travel Vietnam program, with airfares and prices at luxury resorts slashed by up to 50% in some cases.”
