The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) together with the Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) and the Swiss Sustainable Tourism Program (SSTP) have cooperated to launch the new Green Travel page on Vietnam's official tourism website for foreign visitors at: www.vietnam.travel/sustainability.
On the Green Travel page, visitors will find articles introducing responsible tourism, guides on Vietnamese customs and practices, and promoting attractive but little-known destinations...
To make it easier for visitors to search, Green Travel provides a comprehensive list of Vietnam's recognized sustainable tourism products. Viewers can read about highly educational tours that are responsible to the community and the environment. In addition, there are articles about sustainable accommodations such as stilt houses, indigenous people's houses, hotels; learn more about handmade souvenirs, fabrics, and stationery brands that are both imbued with Vietnamese culture and support the lives of local people.

Green Travel also has infographics on sustainable tourism in Vietnam, in-depth articles on ethnic minorities, and traditional craft villages. To help tourists plan their trip, Green Travel has compiled a list of reputable sustainable tourism companies.
The purpose of 'Green Travel' is to initially support sustainable tourism businesses and tourists interested in this form of tourism to learn information in advance; prepare for their trip to Vietnam when international tourism activities reopen.

In the near future, the website www.vietnam.travel will show promotional videos of the best sustainable products; organize competitions with prizes of sustainable products and tours on social media channels Facebook, Instagram (@vietnamtourismboard)...
Previously, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism launched the Virtual Vietnam page on the website www.vietnam.travel/virtual-vietnam to provide information to encourage tourists to explore Vietnam at home while the country is still closing its borders to foreign visitors. This page offers online travel experiences such as 360 journeys.o, Vietnamese food recipes, coloring pages, videos on many other interesting topics.
