Ngoc Vung Island (Quang Ninh)
Besides its famous scenic spots, Quang Ninh tourism also attracts visitors with its pristine, peaceful, and beautiful islands, among which Ngoc Vung Island stands out.
This place is still underdeveloped economically and lacks many resources. Most of the beaches on the island remain untouched by human hands, so they retain the pristine, romantic beauty of long stretches of white sand. It is for this reason that it is considered one of the most unspoiled islands in Vietnam, attracting many young people who love exploration.
Life on Ngoc Vung Island is simple and rustic. Therefore, besides enjoying swimming and immersing yourself in the clear, cool water, you can also cycle, stroll around the island, and explore the local culture. Accommodation on the island isn't well-developed, but if you want to stay overnight, there are a few homestays available for around 350,000-700,000 VND per night for four people. Ky Co Island (Quy Nhon)
Ky Co is located more than 20 km southeast of Quy Nhon city center. It's considered one of the most interesting tourist destinations in Quy Nhon, with two sides bordered by mountains and one side by the sea, making it ideal for motorbike travelers. While you can travel by car, going by motorbike is more convenient for exploring the area.
Quy Nhon has a mild climate, so you can visit at any time of year, but for the most convenience, you should go between February and August. During this time, the weather is cool, there is less rain, making travel and sightseeing easier.
Here, you will be overwhelmed by the pristine beauty of the island with its long stretches of pure white sand beneath towering rocky mountains. Endless stretches of rocks of various shapes and sizes, and sheer cliffs jutting out into the sea, create a scene that is both majestic and poetic. The rocks here are interconnected, and when the tide rises, water rushes into the crevices, creating beautiful artificial pools. These pools are cool, with clear blue water where you can see the bottom. Each pool can hold 5-7 people, making them ideal for family trips and very safe for young children.
Visitors can also rent boats or canoes to explore the sea, go fishing, or join fishermen at sea to observe their daily work of catching seafood.
Hon Nua Island (Phu Yen)

Upon arriving, a serene scene unfolds before visitors: a long, winding stretch of pristine white sand, crystal-clear blue water, and rocky cliffs that gradually rise towards the East Sea. Climbing these cliffs, you'll discover something fascinating: a freshwater lake nestled amidst the majestic rock formations.
If you take the time to explore the island, you'll discover "giant footprints." Over millions of years, the sea has eroded the rocks, naturally shaping them into scattered footprints, making visitors feel like they've wandered into the land of giants. Nature has also shown its generosity to Hon Nua Island, with a long stretch of white sandy beach alongside a vibrant coral reef. These features will surely make diving enthusiasts want to schedule a visit immediately.
Robinson Island (Khanh Hoa)
As its name suggests, when you arrive at this island, you'll sometimes feel like you've wandered onto a deserted island, surrounded on all sides by the sea, pine forests, cliffs, and mountains, everything seemingly completely isolated from the outside world. Therefore, you can leisurely enjoy the incredibly beautiful scenery, especially at sunrise and sunset on this Robinson Crusoe island.
In the early morning, the sea around the island becomes crystal clear and azure, with a long stretch of fine white sand extending from one end to the other, making Robinson Island an ideal place to catch the first rays of sunlight. As evening approaches, you can bring some snacks to the pier, put on some music, and watch the sun slowly set over the sea, followed by the twinkling "stars" of the fishermen's boats as they return to shore with their lights on. These are truly peaceful, quiet, and beautiful scenes that you'd be hard-pressed to find in crowded, bustling places.
Called a "deserted island," Robinson Island offers a variety of activities, including snorkeling and enjoying fresh seafood on floating restaurants built in the middle of the sea. Being close to Binh Ba Island, Robinson is also a haven for famous lobsters known for their firm and sweet meat. Just ask, and the local fishermen will readily catch and serve them on the spot, at very reasonable prices. As for clams, mussels, and other shellfish, you can eat as much as you want without worrying about running out. In addition, seafood pancakes are a famous dish on the island. In the morning, a hot plate of mixed seafood pancakes is enough to give you the energy to explore the entire island.
Phu Quy Island (Binh Thuan Province)
Phu Quy Island is a small island belonging to Binh Thuan province, also known as Cu Lao Khoai Xu or Cu Lao Thu. It would be a shame to visit Binh Thuan and "forget" this famous destination.
Even now, the island still retains its pristine beauty with the tranquil and peaceful scenery of an island untouched by tourism development. It has an area of only 16 square kilometers.2But there's no shortage of interesting places to explore here. However, the ideal time to visit Phu Quy is from December to June. During this period, the island's weather is quite stable, the sea is calm, the sky is clear and cool, making it very convenient for you to have a memorable trip with family and friends.
Pirate Island (Kien Giang)
Pirate Islands, located in Tien Hai commune, Ha Tien city, are nearly 28 km from the mainland. Although not as famous as Phu Quoc and Nam Du, and lacking developed tourism, electricity, and internet access, the islands are loved by tourists for their pristine scenery and experiences of fishing village life.
The island got its unique name because, around the late 17th and early 18th centuries, this area was a pirate stronghold where pirates attacked merchant ships from Southeast Asian countries. The name "Pirates" was given to the archipelago from that time.
Upon arriving at the island, you can visit the sovereignty marker of the Pirate Islands archipelago, or rent a boat and join the locals for snorkeling, fishing, or catching sea urchins. Especially, you'll get to enjoy your catch right on the boat, a unique and enjoyable experience rarely found elsewhere.
Ba Lua Islands (Kien Giang)
If Tam Coc Bich Dong in the North is considered the "second Ha Long Bay," then Ba Lua Island is known as the "miniature Ha Long Bay of the South." This archipelago comprises many large and small islands, located about 7 km from Hon Chong, in Kien Luong district, Kien Giang province.
The pristine, expansive beauty will leave you breathless as you conquer this mysterious land, and the new adventures will create unforgettable memories. The sea here isn't too deep, only chest-deep (known as low tide), so you can easily move from one island to another. Furthermore, there are many types of coral and pebbles with unique shapes and beautiful colors, making the beach sparkle in the afternoon sun. What could be better than strolling along this unspoiled yet romantic beach with friends and loved ones!
When visiting the Ba Lua Islands, you can bring a tent to camp overnight, wander along the beach at night, and listen to the sound of the waves blending with the rustling of coconut trees in the wind – promising many interesting experiences. You can also contact the locals to ask for a place to stay. Another wonderful thing is that the people here are very warm and hospitable, making you want to return many times. The ideal time to visit Ba Lua Island is from September to March (lunar calendar).
Mong Tay Island (Kien Giang)
Mong Tay Island is located off the coast of Kien Giang province, south of Phu Quoc Island. Although situated between the Ba Lua and Hai Tac archipelagos, Mong Tay Island doesn't belong to either. The island is hidden from shipping lanes, resulting in little ship traffic and virtually untouched by human hands.
Hon Mong Tay (Nail Island) is one of the five most beautiful small islands in Phu Quoc and is extremely popular with tourists. The island is named Hon Mong Tay because in the past there were many nail trees, also known as sea pine trees, on the island. However, nowadays, very few of these trees remain.
The ideal time to visit Mong Tay Island is from September to March of the lunar calendar each year, especially from November to January. During this time, the weather is less rainy, the sea is calm, making it favorable for boat and speedboat trips to the island. Alternatively, you can visit in April or October, which are the beginning and end of the rainy season, so the rainfall is reduced, the scenery is still beautiful, and there are fewer tourists.
