Sharing with Travellive, Minh Anh (26 years old, architect) - the owner of MiCasa - said: “MiCasa was built on my hometown land, which used to be my grandmother's banana plantation. At the beginning of 2020, when the pandemic broke out, I decided to return home for a while. Suddenly, ideas flashed through my mind; I wanted to transform the banana plantation into a charming homestay, so I decided to stay in my hometown to start my business.”
Amidst the picturesque mountains and forests of Cao Bang
Often referred to as the "green jewel" of the Northeast region, Cao Bang boasts pristine natural landscapes and majestic, sprawling mountains. Capitalizing on these inherent strengths, Minh Anh decided to leave the city and return to the countryside, developing tourism in her hometown by establishing a homestay model.
The house, built on a hillside in Cao Bang, was designed by architect Minh Anh after he decided to leave the city and return to his hometown.
Dang Minh Anh is an architect and the owner of MiCasa.
Homestay MiCasa is nestled amidst the hills in Hamlet 7, Hoa Chung, Cao Bang. According to Minh Anh, the name is inspired by Italy, meaning "my home," a peaceful haven for anyone visiting Cao Bang.
The house on the hill has four attic rooms and two bungalows in the garden. MiCasa is designed in a minimalist, light Nordic style with bright white tones, always utilizing natural light and nature in the space. The owner uses pine wood for the interior materials, combined with natural decorative items to create a simple, rustic yet warm space. A special feature is the glass windows in the roof, allowing guests to enjoy watching the rain or stargazing at night through these windows. The owner is an architect, so both the exterior and interior of the homestay are memorable for their meticulous, neat, and charming design.
When visiting Cao Bang, you can also explore famous tourist attractions such as Ban Gioc Waterfall, Ban Viet Lake, Mount Mat Than, Pac Po tourist area… and enjoy the unique local cuisine. Amidst the lush green forest, MiCasa is like a small, verdant garden, offering nothing but peace to welcome guests who want to recharge their energy for their journey.
The house is surrounded by lush green nature.

The house is designed in a Scandinavian style, with a predominantly white color scheme combined with the use of wood materials, creating a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
A place for peace
MiCasa also boasts a garden area of up to 2700 m².2Covered in vast green meadows, trees, flowers, and fruit trees, facing west to catch the sunset… it exudes vitality year-round. Perhaps that is the outstanding advantage that allows visitors to rest and relax when they come here.
“The early days of building MiCasa were full of memories, requiring a lot of dedication and time. The most memorable experience was when I personally planted 100 hydrangea plants, only for a few days later a storm swept them all away. Although it was a little sad, it's a memory I'll never forget,” Minh Anh recounted.
