Sharing with Travellive, Minh Anh (26 years old, architect) - the owner of MiCasa said: “MiCasa was built on my hometown land, which used to be the garden where my grandmother grew bananas. At the beginning of 2020, when the epidemic broke out, I decided to return to my hometown for a while. Suddenly, ideas flashed in my head, wanting to turn the banana garden into a lovely homestay, I decided to stay in my hometown to start a business.”
In the middle of the poetic Cao Bang mountains and forests
Considered the green pearl of the Northeast region, Cao Bang possesses pristine natural scenery, with majestic mountains. Taking advantage of this available strength, Minh Anh decided to leave the city for the forest, developing tourism in his hometown by building a homestay model.
The house was built on the hill of Cao Bang by architect Minh Anh after he decided to leave the city to live in the countryside.
Dang Minh Anh is an architect and homeowner of MiCasa
MiCasa Homestay is located halfway up the hill in Group 7, Hoa Chung, Cao Bang. According to Minh Anh, this name was inspired by Italy, meaning my home, a peaceful home for anyone stopping in Cao Bang.
The house on the hill has four attics and two bungalows in the garden. MiCasa is designed in a Nordic style, minimalist, gentle with bright white tones, always taking advantage of natural light and nature into the space. The owner uses pine wood for interior materials, combined with natural decorative items to create a simple, rustic but still warm space. The special feature is also in the rooms with glass windows on the roof, visitors can experience watching the rain or watching the stars at night through this window. The owner is an architect, so both the outside and the inside of the homestay are "memorable" because of the meticulousness, neatness and charm.
When traveling to Cao Bang, you can also visit famous tourist attractions such as Ban Gioc waterfall, Ban Viet lake, Mat Than mountain, Pac Po tourist area... and enjoy the unique cuisine here. In the middle of the green forest, MiCasa is like a small green garden, with nothing but peace to welcome guests to recharge their energy for the journey.
The house is surrounded by lush green nature.

The house is designed in Nordic style, with the main white tone combined with the use of wood materials, creating an extremely comfortable and close feeling.
A place of peace
MiCasa also has a garden area of up to 2700 m2covered by green grass, trees, flowers and fruits, facing the West to welcome the sunset… always brings vitality all year round. Perhaps that is the outstanding advantage that helps visitors rest and relax when coming here.
“The early days of building MiCasa were filled with memories, taking a lot of time and effort. The most memorable experience was when I planted 100 hydrangeas by myself and a few days later a storm swept them all away. Although it was a bit sad, it was an unforgettable memory,” Minh Anh recalled.
