It is often said, "Picking up a stone in Dong Van and a handful of soil at Ca Mau Cape is like embracing the whole country." Anyone who has ever set foot on the Dong Van Stone Plateau in Ha Giang during winter will surely never forget the feeling of being immersed in the vast fields of buckwheat flowers.
Lung Cu also becomes gentle and romantic thanks to the pink and purple hues that cover it. The buckwheat plants here are grown in terraced fields, creating an eye-catching layered effect.
Ha Giang is located nearly 300 km from Hanoi. From mid-October to the end of November, after the rice harvest, is the season for buckwheat flowers. This characteristic flower of the rocky plateau of Ha Giang is usually only planted in the autumn, and the growing season lasts for 3 months.

The children are happily playing in the buckwheat flower field.
Buckwheat flowers typically bloom for about a month, with their color changing weekly. When they first bloom, they are a pure white, like the clouds in the sky, then they turn a pale pinkish-purple, and finally a deep red.
Buckwheat flowers in the middle of the season are a combination of white, pink, and purple hues.
Over the years, this flower has become a source of inspiration, attracting many tourists. Therefore, local people are focusing on investing in planting more of these flowers to develop local tourism.
Humans are surrounded by nature in peace and tranquility.
Leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city, a trip to the highlands of Ha Giang, amidst mountains and hills covered in flowers, allows visitors to breathe in the fresh air and immerse themselves in the majestic natural scenery. This will be an ideal and unforgettable experience for tourists from all over the country.
