Located 60 km northwest of Hanoi city center, Ba Vi National Park boasts fresh air and a diverse ecosystem, making it ideal for short trips with friends and family.

Ba Vi National Park boasts a fairly typical tropical and subtropical flora in Vietnam, with lush greenery all year round and a fresh climate. This is why it's known as the "green lung" of Hanoi.

Here lies the ancient stone church of Ba Vì, abandoned for many years. Its roof is gone, leaving the church standing alone and gloomy amidst the overgrown trees. On the wall, a cross is covered in a nostalgic hue, reflecting the silvery afternoon sunlight through the windows.

Ba Vi National Park also boasts many spectacular natural landscapes with streams originating from the Ba Vi mountain range that flow year-round, such as Thien Son - Suoi Nga, Ao Vua, Khoang Xanh, Tien Sa Lake, etc.

About the author
Photographers Mai Anh Tú (born in 1983) and Nguyễn Bá Ngọc (born in 1981) were both born and raised in Ba Vì. For a long time, they had intended to create a photo series to express their love for their homeland. These works were displayed at the photo exhibition during the workshop on "Promoting the Value of Ruins in Ba Vì National Park," organized by the Vietnam Association of Architects and Meliã International Hotels in Hanoi in early September.
