Having fallen in love with the beauty of the foggy city at the turn of the season, photographer Bui Huy Tuong (stage name toilatuong, Quang Binh) currently living and working in Da Lat spontaneously captured the ordinary, simple moments of this land through the photo series "Autumn in Da Lat in the eyes of a lover". As a person deeply in love with the city of thousands of flowers, the photo series is as simple as the moments he collected from his daily activities and the people of Da Lat.

“I have a special affection for Da Lat. In other words, I love this city so much that every year I often spend time to dedicate a photo album to Da Lat about Autumn. I am impressed by the changing leaves in Autumn, the weather, the scenery and the people on the street. It seems that everything is more beautiful, strangely beautiful, somewhere with a gentleness like a Da Lat girl”, Huy Tuong confided.

To take photos of Dalat's autumn, the photographer wandered around every street corner and road for 7 to 10 days: "In addition to the days I go out to take photos, in my free time I will walk around and capture moments of Dalat's autumn in the early morning or at sunset."

Not famous, crowded places that everyone knows, the coordinates appearing in Huy Tuong's photo series are often quiet, peaceful street corners. "I chose people and landscape as the criteria for this photo series. Because I clearly see that people and everything around are very poetic and dreamy," the photographer confided.

Sharing about the most memorable memory in the journey of taking photos of Da Lat with a unique perspective, Huy Tuong said: “Perhaps, what I remember most when taking photos of this year's Autumn series is that I got lost in a small alley in Da Lat. The image of an old man with silver hair in the small yard where I was walking and admiring the surrounding scenery. At that time, I had to exclaim 'Oh, how beautiful'. Or the image of the uncles sitting by Xuan Huong Lake chatting with each other in the early morning. The sunlight appeared over the hill, reflecting on the lake surface..."

The pure beauty of Dalat's autumn is carefully expressed in every corner of his photos. The photo series partly depicts the romance and gentle colors of a dreamy city in autumn. With that dreaminess and peace, Huy Tuong's photo series about Dalat's autumn received a lot of love and interaction on social networks from young people who have fallen in love with this highland city.

Giving advice to young people who are also passionate about capturing simple moments in daily life, Huy Tuong said: “I only record everything based on the perception of emotions coming from within people. Press the camera slowly and gently. Observe carefully and wait for a few moments.”
