Milk Tea Theme Park in Tokyo

24/07/2019

Although bubble tea - a drink consisting of tea, milk, sugar and toppings ranging from tapioca pearls, jelly to fruit jelly or cream cheese - originated in Taiwan, Japan is the first country to announce plans to launch an amusement park related to this drink that has been a constant craze for years.

A bubble tea theme park called Tokyo Tapioca Land will open in front of Tokyo's Harajuku Station from August 13 to September 16.

Tokyo Tapioca Land promises to have drink stalls, 10 photo booths, celebrity brand ambassadors, tapioca-themed rides, and of course, plenty of bubble tea for fans to indulge in. Since the park is just a short walk from Harajuku Station and Meiji Jingu-mae Subway Station, it's sure to be crowded, so get there as early as possible.

The pre-sale tickets for the park cost $9.27 and are already sold out, so you can only wait until the park opens and buy them at the counter for $11.13.
