Bubble tea theme park in Tokyo

24/07/2019

Although bubble tea – a beverage consisting of tea, milk, sugar, and various toppings from tapioca pearls and jelly to fruit jelly or cream cheese – originated in Taiwan, Japan was the first country to announce plans to launch an amusement park related to this ever-popular drink.

A bubble tea-themed park called Tokyo Tapioca Land will open in front of Tokyo's Harajuku Station from August 13th to September 16th.

Tokyo Tapioca Land is said to promise beverage stalls, 10 photo booths, celebrity brand ambassadors, a tapioca pearl-themed roller coaster, and of course, a huge variety of bubble teas for fans to indulge in. Since the park is only a short walk from Harajuku Station and Meiji Jingu-mae subway station, it's sure to attract a large crowd. Therefore, you should arrive as early as possible.

Tickets sold before the park opened were priced at $9.27 and have already sold out. Therefore, you can only wait until the park opens and purchase tickets directly at the counter for $11.13.
