According to Insider, the "convenience" store is located on a vertical cliff in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park area, Hunan province, China.
The shop is made of a row of wooden planks, supported by steel bars underneath. It sells drinks and some snacks, including potato chips, at affordable prices, a bottle of water is only about 2 yuan (about 7,000 VND).

"The store doesn't make much profit, but the climbers appreciate it. So we feel that our work is meaningful," said one employee. With limited space, the store can only accommodate one person. This employee is also responsible for restocking goods every morning.
"The employees here must have very toned bodies climbing up and down this workplace every day," commented one Weibo user.
"At first, new employees are quite scared to work here but they quickly get used to it. The only problem is using the toilet. It's tiring to climb down and up just to go to the toilet so we try not to drink too much water."

According to CCTV, the store opened in 2018 but is now closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak in China. Shiniuzhai National Geological Park is a famous scenic tourist destination in China, known for its steep cliffs, waterfalls and hiking trails.
