According to the Organizing Committee, Cuc Phuong National Park (Vietnam) has once again surpassed many other national parks in Japan, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia to be voted Asia's Leading National Park in 2023. This affirms the attractiveness of ecotourism – one of the key tourism sectors of Vietnam's tourism industry.
This is the fifth consecutive time (from 2019 to the present) that Cuc Phuong National Park has been honored with the prestigious "Leading National Park in Asia" award.
Cuc Phuong National Park was established with the main functions and tasks of conserving natural resources and cultural, historical, and landscape values; maintaining the protective function of the forest; organizing scientific research activities, ecological environmental services, and environmental education.
The Asia's Leading National Park 2023 awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 6th in Ho Chi Minh City.
