Only 85km from Hanoi (if going through Tu Ky - Hai Duong), or following Highway 10, you can also reach this tourist area. This place has a hot mineral water source that flows from the ground at a depth of 850m, with a temperature of 54ºC, which is evaluated by the General Department of Geology of Vietnam, the Research Institute of Russia and Czechoslovakia as one of the five especially valuable mineral water mines in Vietnam, because of the trace mineral elements contained in the water. Tien Lang natural mineral water is the same type as Mirgorod mineral water (Russia), Bazne Darkov (Czech Republic), Baisov (Bulgaria), Salivs de Jura (France). In addition to being used for soaking, bathing, and inhaling, the mineral water here is also used to prevent, treat, and restore the function of some diseases such as: chronic peripheral neuritis, endocrine dysfunction, chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, some skin diseases...

This entire eco-zone is 10 hectares wide. We can come here to soak in hot mineral water with indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, mineral mud baths, steam baths, hydrotherapy, and physical therapy. Those who do not want to bathe can go to the tennis court, badminton, billiards, or go fishing to relax, sing karaoke, etc. When tired, we can take a walk in the garden next to the small, man-made stream and admire the colorful lotus flowers in the small lake.

I was surprised to see such a large Huong Que restaurant here, with a capacity of nearly 3,000 guests, 2 floors specializing in culinary services, seminars, conferences, festivals, wedding parties. As soon as we entered the door, we immediately encountered a giant pipe measuring 3.2m long with a diameter of nearly 20cm - which can be registered in the Guinness Book of Records of Vietnam. I suddenly remembered that Tien Lang is the very famous homeland of tobacco in Northern Vietnam.

Another interesting thing is that only about 10 km from Tien Lang hot spring resort, we can visit the memorial site of the cultural celebrity Nguyen Binh Khiem, a great poet, thinker, and teacher (1491 - 1585) who lived almost the entire 16th century. Here we can visit the tomb of Nguyen Van Dinh - Nguyen Binh Khiem's father, visit the temple of Nguyen Binh Khiem, and take photos under his statue, 5.7m high, weighing 8.5 tons, with two giant reliefs behind it. But the unique thing that I have never seen elsewhere is the whole "garden of statues" simulating the image of Nguyen Binh Khiem living among the people. The statues are so vivid right in the middle of the garden, or in the middle of the yard, sometimes an old woman, sometimes an ordinary old farmer, sometimes a baby riding on a buffalo's back... but all are directed towards him - the cultural celebrity Nguyen Binh Khiem.
