On October 5th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province announced that it is implementing a plan to stimulate demand and revive tourism and travel activities in the area, to be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. Accordingly, Lam Dong expects to welcome tourists from other provinces starting in November 2021.
Specifically, the locations for receiving guests are limited to certain accommodation establishments, tourist areas and attractions, and service businesses in Da Lat city, Bao Loc city, and Lac Duong, Duc Trong, Di Linh, and Da Huoai districts.

Tourists need to register for a package tour program with a travel agency and have a health insurance or travel insurance contract as required; they must also have received all doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and have a valid vaccination certificate or a certificate confirming recovery from Covid-19 within the last 12 months; they must have been tested for Covid-19 using the RT-PCR/RT-LAMP method within 72 hours before arriving in Lam Dong and have the test results certified by a competent authority with a negative result.
Service providers participating in receiving domestic tourists must meet the prescribed criteria to ensure safety in disease prevention and control, and the quality of services provided. The procedures for receiving, transporting, sightseeing, accommodation, and using tourism services for domestic tourists are also applied according to regulations when they arrive in Lam Dong province.

According to the leaders of the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the unit has also planned to welcome international tourists and will only implement it when approved by the central government.
Previously, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee allowed localities to welcome tourists from within the province starting in September 2021 (except for areas under social distancing measures according to Government Directives 15 and 16).
