On October 5, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province said it is implementing a plan to implement stimulus policies and restore tourism and travel activities in the area to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. Accordingly, Lam Dong is expected to welcome out-of-province tourists starting from November 2021.
In particular, the reception locations are limited to a number of accommodation establishments, tourist areas, attractions and service businesses in Da Lat city, Bao Loc and Lac Duong, Duc Trong, Di Linh and Da Huoai districts.

Tourists need to register to participate in a package tour program of a travel agency and have a health insurance and travel insurance contract according to regulations; at the same time, they must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and have a valid vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 not more than 12 months old; be tested for Covid-19 using the RT-PCR/RT-LAMP method within 72 hours before arriving in Lam Dong and be certified by a competent authority with a negative result.
Service providers participating in welcoming domestic tourists must meet the prescribed criteria to ensure safety in disease prevention and control, and the quality of services provided. The process of welcoming, transporting, visiting, staying, and using tourism services for domestic tourists is also applied according to regulations when coming to Lam Dong province.

The leader of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the unit also has a plan to welcome international tourists and will only implement it when there is approval from the Central Government.
Previously, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee allowed localities to welcome domestic visitors from September 2021 (except for areas under social distancing according to Directives 15 and 16 of the Government).
