Since the beginning of March, every weekend, the beaches in Da Nang city have been crowded with tourists swimming and enjoying recreational activities. Transportation of tourists to hotels and attractions is also becoming increasingly lively and bustling.
To celebrate the reopening of the tourism industry and attract visitors, Da Nang city will officially launch a new tourism product, "My An Night Beach," on April 30th. This is a highlight for the city's tourism industry after more than two years of suspension due to the pandemic.
My An Beach (Ngu Hanh Son District) offers several nighttime activities such as: mobile food and beverage services; a beachside check-in area; an outdoor event stage combined with community activities and traditional games… Some services at the beach operate 24/7, while others end before 2-3 am, depending on the needs of locals and tourists.
The My An beach area has been redecorated to welcome tourists.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches, said that My An beach will be illuminated at night along with many new entertainment activities: “New products here include beach-based event stages for locals and tourists to participate in; beach-based movie screenings; relaxing massage services on the sand; beachside food services… In addition, we are also preparing surfing and other water sports activities to introduce during this period.”
In addition, the city is also piloting several other activities such as the An Thuong tourist street; nighttime tourism services combined with decorative lighting at the parks at both ends of the Dragon Bridge and the Bach Dang road (section from APEC Park to Nguyen Van Troi Bridge); pedestrian walkways on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge; and simultaneously implementing the "Brilliant Lights, Flourishing Specialized Business Streets" program in some streets in the districts and counties.
Many shops and restaurants along the coast of Da Nang have also been renovated.
In addition, to facilitate tourists, Da Nang city has also launched a waterway tourism route from CT15 pier to Bai Da beach, and a waterway tourism route between Da Nang and Ly Son; exploited tourism services combined with the development of agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture in Hoa Vang district; and organized new festivals, games, and services in 2022 at Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, Than Tai Mountain hot spring tourist area, etc.
