Recently, Travel+Leisure, a leading travel and experience review website (USA), published an official article announcing the 25 most beautiful beaches in the world as of 2021. Alongside numerous famous "paradise" beaches and islands, a representative from Vietnam was also named on this list: Dam Trau Beach, located in the Con Dao area (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).
According to experts from Travel+Leisure, choosing the most beautiful beach in Vietnam is difficult, but Dam Trau Beach is a strong contender. "With its long stretch of soft golden sand, shady bamboo groves, and lush green trees, it's the perfect place to spend the day relaxing in a hammock, reading a book while gazing at the sea, or strolling under the coconut trees. From the beach, you can watch commercial planes slowly landing at the nearby airport, creating a thrilling and enjoyable experience for visitors," the author describes.
Dam Trau Beach is located near Co Ong Airport, outside Con Dao National Park. It's not difficult for tourists to witness planes landing here. Many people even eagerly wait for the right moment to capture this exciting sight.
In Travel+Leisure's list of the 25 most beautiful beaches in the world, besides Dam Trau Beach (Vietnam), there are three other representatives from Asia: Railay West (Krabi, Thailand), Saud (Luzon, Philippines), and Radhanagar (India).
Previously, Hoi An was also ranked as the most beautiful city in the world by Travel+Leisure magazine.
