However, the Director of the Vietnam Film Department, Vi Kien Thanh, stated that "Dao, Pho and Piano" is a film commissioned and funded by the state. The film does not have a budget for widespread distribution.

Currently, the National Film Center is the only theater showing the film "Peach, Pho, and Piano," with the spirit of serving the audience and contributing to the film industry. All revenue must be remitted 100% to the state budget.
The Director of the Department of Cinema stated that in order to widely distribute a film to theaters nationwide, regulations are needed regarding a percentage of revenue for distributors. Meanwhile, there are no regulations on a percentage of revenue for distributors when distributing films commissioned by the state.

The film tells the love story of a Hanoi couple against the backdrop of the 60-day and 60-night battle (December 19, 1946 - February 17, 1947) to defend the capital. A self-defense fighter (played by Doan Quoc Dam) and a young lady from Hanoi (played by Cao Thuy Linh) are separated during the battle. When they reunite, they have only a few hours left to get married, to play love songs for each other and enjoy their marital happiness.
