Mr. Chu Anh Hung, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Opera House, said that the Highlands Coffee brand, which previously operated within the opera house premises, no longer has a contract with the establishment.
Currently, the theater uses this space as a venue for musical performances for audiences in the capital city, naming it Music Garden.

This venue opened during the recent Lunar New Year, selling music tickets for 99,000 VND per person. When purchasing a ticket to enjoy the music, guests receive a complimentary drink of their choice from the menu, and free access to the scenic spots within the venue.
According to Mr. Hung, the music concept here is divided by session. From 9 am to 12 pm, traditional Vietnamese instruments are performed; from 1 pm to 6 pm, classical music is performed; and from 7:30 pm to 10 pm, modern music is performed by live bands and young singers.
All beverages and pastries are sourced from reputable suppliers to ensure quality.
"We aim to create an outdoor music garden space where visitors can tour the Grand Theatre and enjoy the arts. In particular, traditional musical instruments will be performed to promote and preserve the culture, while also introducing it to international guests," Mr. Hung said.
The Deputy Director of the Grand Theatre also said that currently, the theatre grounds have been decorated with miniature landscapes to serve visitors for check-in, artificial grass has been laid, and backdrops have been added for musical programs...
In the future, the unit will continue to improve in order to create a professional musical space to serve the audience. At the same time, the unit plans to combine the music program with a tour of the Grand Theatre.
Previously, images of a drink menu priced at 99,000 VND at a cafe located within the Hanoi Opera House grounds were posted on social media. Many people expressed surprise because this location has long been associated with Highlands Coffee.
According to Mr. Hung, in the future, the unit will promote the Music Garden brand more widely so that more people will know about it.
