As for the young man, upon hearing the news, he also decided to jump into the abyss where the girl had fallen to be reunited with her. The tears of sorrow from both of them created the fullness of Lake Sayram today. And because of this, the lake is also known as "the last tear of the Atlantic."

In July and August, Mongolians and Kazakhs gather in the fields to celebrate the Nadam festival. The event lasts six days and includes competitions such as horse racing, wrestling, and archery. Herders from the surrounding area also participate in the festival, dressed in traditional ethnic costumes. In addition, the event features various cultural performances such as dancing, singing, and a "girl-chasing" competition.

Sayram Lake is one of the four most beautiful lakes in Xinjiang, alongside Kanas, Ulungur, and Bostan. The entrance fee to visit the lake is 10 CNY (approximately 35,000 VND).
To get here, visitors can take domestic flights, a 4-hour journey from Beijing to Urumqi. There are approximately 14 flights daily connecting the two cities. After arriving in Urumqi, you can take a bus from Yining Station on Jiefang Road to Sayram Lake. The journey takes about 3 hours.
