Ba Vi hill chicken is especially famous because it is raised naturally on hilly lands, the chicken feed is made from a mixture of corn, ground soybeans, fish oil, and brewer's dregs. Because the chickens are free-range, flying freely in the garden, the chicken meat is chewy, firm, has a characteristic aroma and has a high lean ratio.

Or you can drive back to the Ba Vi National Park, explore the world of fresh milk and dairy products such as colostrum cake, goat yogurt, caramel yogurt, curdled milk... at factories, milk processing facilities or at the countryside farm. What could be better than a cool afternoon, sipping a cup of hot goat milk, or enjoying caramel yogurt made from goat milk, white sugar and eggs.

One of the extremely unique specialties in Ba Vi is the curdled milk with salt and chili at the farms. To make curdled milk, people have to take freshly squeezed, unpasteurized milk, steam it, then the milk will form a cream and solidify. Simple but very popular.

Colostrum cake is one of the gifts you must bring back when traveling to Ba Vi. The rectangular colostrum cake bars, with a creamy yellow color, sweet and fatty taste, are made from fresh cow's milk and sugar, used as a snack for children, or as an ideal office food.
