21/03/2022

Prior to Vietnam officially reopening all international flights on March 15, 2022, the online travel platform Agoda conducted a survey based on website traffic data. Through this, Agoda revealed a list of the top 10 countries most eager to return to Vietnam.

According to Agoda's search data, Singapore tops the list of countries searching for information about Vietnam, with the aim of experiencing the friendly hospitality, scenic landscapes, and unique culinary culture. When Vietnam began opening its doors to international tourists on March 15th, Singapore also implemented a Vaccine Travel Lane (VTL) with Vietnam the following day, allowing two-way travel without quarantine between the two countries.

The United States ranks second on the list of countries that will travel to Vietnam. Third place goes to South Korea – one of the leading investors in Vietnam and home to the largest expatriate community currently residing in the country. They hope to travel to coastal cities they have visited before, as well as reconnect with former business contacts.

India and Malaysia also made it into the top 5 countries searching for accommodation in Vietnam.
