Dubai puts a welcome stamp on passports.

Tourists going through immigration procedures at Dubai International Airport during this period all received a sticker in their passports, bearing the message "Warm welcome back to your second home" in both English and Arabic.

This idea was proposed by the General Directorate of Immigration and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) to create a sense of familiarity for tourists visiting the UAE in the "post-Covid-19" period. On July 7th, Dubai officially allowed international visitors back after more than three months of closure. Previously, in April, when preparing to issue a temporary suspension of tourism activities, visitors returning home from Dubai received a label with the message: "Have a safe journey, see you again."

The UAE was also one of the first countries in the Middle East to allow tourism to resume after more than three months of lockdown due to fears of the spread of Covid-19.

Dubai's major airlines are beginning to resume flights to numerous destinations around the world. Emirates announced it is reconnecting with 52 locations, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Flydubai is also about to restart flights to 24 cities worldwide.
