According to information from the German Tourist Board, this country has abolished the 3G law. Specifically, this law requires visitors to present a certificate of vaccination, a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 or a negative test result before entering the country. Germany allows visitors from all over the world to travel without having to bring the above documents.
In addition, Germany has begun to relax its mask-wearing requirements. Currently, visitors are only required to wear masks when using public transport such as planes, trains, subways, and buses.
Many European countries have lifted their restrictions. Italy and Cyprus had some of the strictest Covid-19 quarantine laws. But both countries have since lifted them all, leaving only the mask-wearing rule in place.
Germany does not require visitors to present Covid-19 related documents.
In March, the UK opened its borders to tourists without requiring Covid-19 clearance certificates. Other countries across Europe including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland have followed suit.
Additionally, as of May 21, all Americans, regardless of vaccination status, can visit Spain as the country has lifted its vaccination requirement (though unvaccinated travelers must present a negative Covid-19 test result before departure).
