The Nguyen Hue Flower Street for Tet Ky Hoi 2019 on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street will open from February 2nd, 2019 (28th day of the 12th lunar month) to February 8th, 2019 (4th day of Tet). This is the 16th consecutive flower street held in Ho Chi Minh City to welcome the traditional Lunar New Year. The Nguyen Hue Flower Street is also considered the most special highlight in celebrating Tet Ky Hoi 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The first segment of the 2019 Flower Street "A City of Compassion and Rich Identity".
With the theme "Ho Chi Minh City – Aspiration for Greater Heights," the 720-meter-long Nguyen Hue street will be adorned with a vibrant new spring look, featuring large and small artistic displays interwoven with technology, blending mystical perspectives, the shimmering of water, and the colors of light.
The area at the beginning of the flower street features a large pig family display, and a canopy has been installed to provide shade in front of the Ben Thanh Market gate. The "City of Compassion and Rich Identity" section has a flower street entrance divided into three separate clusters, with a total of 15 mascots in various emotional expressions representing abundance, prosperity, joy, optimism, and humor.
The flower street has three main sections: A city of compassion and rich identity, a smart city (city of the future), and a creative city.

Construction work on the Tet flower street for the Year of the Pig 2019 on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street is still very busy with the final stages. Overall, the main decorative elements of the flower street have been completed. Flowers from all over are still being transported to adorn this year's Tet flower street.

As the Tet flower street for the Year of the Pig 2019 gradually took shape, people on Nguyen Hue Walking Street felt that this year's flower street was simpler but featured new and unique miniature scenes appearing for the first time.
The opening scene of the "Dream Pinwheel" miniature landscape features a mascot island with three large pigs bearing drawings representing dreams of family happiness, a beloved school, close friendship, and a peaceful society.

A section of the once-famous canal has been recreated. Waves ripple along with boats laden with spring flowers. At night, the rolling waves are illuminated like moonlight, shining on the canal of yesteryear, accompanying the boats carrying the fragrance of spring.
The stylized floral patterns in various colors blend seamlessly with the finished spring flower background.
The grand scene of the "Internet of Things" features interconnected polygonal spheres displaying two different colors on the same day.
The "Blue Ocean" display promises to give viewers the feeling of strolling through the ocean with its artistically curved waves, swirling columns of bubbles, and schools of fish swimming overhead. This display is essentially complete, with a height ranging from 0.9m to 1.4m.
The grand scene "Melody of Spring" is a world of flowers, tall trees, and bamboo intertwined harmoniously.
