A journey back to the identity and culture of the highlands.
Having previously worked for international brands such as Melia and IHG, Chef Le Trong Thuat possesses a deep understanding of global culinary trends as well as the exemplary service standards of large corporations. He shared that the pristine beauty and unique cultural identity of Ha Giang inspired him to come here – not only to explore, but also to tell the story of the highlands through each dish.
“I’ve always believed that every delicious dish tells a story – it must have history, culture, aesthetic appeal, and authentic flavor. And I want to tell the story of Ha Giang in that way, so that every diner can feel the spirit of the rocky plateau through each different layer of flavor,” shared Chef Le Trong Thuat.

Fusion style and the mission to "elevate local cuisine"
Following a Fusion culinary approach, Chef Thuat aims for a fusion of tradition and modernity, using local ingredients such as Cao Bo sturgeon, smoked buffalo meat, buckwheat flour, and baked cassava cakes to create dishes with a unique signature. He also aspires to create a distinctly "Ha Giang flavor" at Four Points by Sheraton – a culinary experience unlike anywhere else.
He shared: “The cuisine here is a priceless treasure – diverse, unique, and full of potential. I want every diner who comes to Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang to be able to enjoy a dish that is not only delicious, but also carries the story of this land and the depth of its culture.”
