22/08/2025

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An has officially introduced a comprehensively upgraded version of its One-Bedroom Villas and Family Villas, setting a new standard for luxurious coastal resort experiences in Central Vietnam.

The resort, comprising a total of 60 villas, is currently in its final stages of completion, with 43 already ready to welcome guests and the remaining 17 expected to be finished by mid-December 2025.

Under the masterful hands of architects from Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) Singapore – a world-leading resort interior design firm – the renovated villas still respect the original design spirit of architect Reda Amalou (AW2, Paris) and the late interior designer Jaya Ibrahim. Contemporary elements are skillfully integrated, honoring the distinctive features that have defined the resort's name since its inception. With views overlooking the East Sea and tropical gardens, each villa becomes a haven for couples and families wishing to enjoy spacious, tranquil surroundings and fully immerse themselves in the pristine beauty of nature.

A design legacy that transforms with time.

With a spirit of respecting traditional values and paying attention to every detail, the redesigned One-Bedroom Villa and Family Villa skillfully blends the beauty of Vietnamese heritage with contemporary elegance.

From the very first bricks laid, each villa has been shaped as a modern version of the garden houses of Hue – the former capital of the Nguyen dynasty. The traditional structure with wooden roofs, elevated sleeping platforms, and seamless views from the bed to the sea has been preserved intact. Amidst this familiar setting, subtle transformations gradually emerge without diminishing the inherent character.

The color palette is refreshed with light, bright tones, accented with pale greens and mustard yellows that blend harmoniously with the surrounding nature. Along with this, the handcrafted items and designs, distilled from local traditions, subtly tell the story of centuries-old traditional crafts of this land.

In the living room area, bay windows are added to maximize natural light, alongside a comfortable sun lounger creating a tranquil relaxation corner for reading, resting, or simply reflecting. The central lounge area – a distinctive highlight of the original design – is recreated through sunset-toned ombré curtains and pendant lights inspired by traditional conical hats.

Another sun lounger is strategically placed in a private spot, ideal for relaxing or taking a gentle afternoon nap. The storage unit, which doubles as a desk, and the bedside table, both finished in cracked eggshell enamel, provide a solid foundation, harmonizing both architecture and functionality. In the Family Villa, the living area is divided into a separate children's room, equipped with a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower, and many amenities suitable for young guests.

The expansive bathroom stands out with its blend of materials and color palettes: elegant Panda White marble, meticulously handcrafted tiles, and soft lighting from transparent glass pendant lights. A vanity table with a traditional Vietnamese feel blends seamlessly with the freestanding bathtub overlooking the beautiful natural scenery outside the window. Every moment spent relaxing in the water is now enveloped in the lush greenery of the garden and the gentle sound of the rain shower, creating a perfect relaxation experience amidst nature and refined luxury.
