A PRESTIGIOUS AWARD IN THE VIETNAMESE GOLF INDUSTRY
The “Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards,” formerly known as the “Best Golf Course in Vietnam,” was established in 2007. After many years of successful organization and strong support from the Vietnamese golf community, it has demonstrated the appeal and prestige of a large-scale award for golf courses and golf services across the country, aiming to promote Vietnam as a golf destination and encourage golf courses to improve their services to better meet the needs of players.
The Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards, initiated by Vietnam Golf & Leisure Magazine in collaboration with the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the Department of Physical Education and Sports, and the Vietnam Golf Association, follows a professional, rigorous, and transparent selection and survey process to ensure accuracy and credibility for the award categories.
The panel of judges included (from left to right): Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha – Vice President of VGA, Mr. Spencer Robinson – Director of Communications at AGIF, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh – Director of the National Tourism Administration, Mr. Pham Tien Van – President of Vietnam Golf Leisure/Head of the Organizing Committee, and Ms. Vu Van Yen – Director of Vietnam Golf Leisure/Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee.
The announcement of results and awarding of the 10th "Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards" this year was held at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel in Hanoi - a top-class and professional event venue in Hanoi. The meticulous preparation by the Organizing Committee created a professional, elegant, and sophisticated press conference and awards ceremony.

Mr. Pham Tien Van – Head of the Organizing Committee of the event shared: “We are confident that the awards will not only honor the golf courses and golf-related entertainment facilities but also encourage units to strive harder to improve the best services for golfers and promote the beauty of Vietnamese golf to the world.”
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Spencer Robinson – Director of Communications of the Asian Golf Industry Federation – also highly appreciated the role of the “Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards” event: “It is undeniable that Vietnam Golf & Leisure Magazine has played a significant role in helping golf in Vietnam make strong strides. The awards presented at today’s ceremony are proof of the increasing number of world-class golf facilities in Vietnam.”

THE MEETING POINT FOR GOLF LEADERS
It's no exaggeration to say that the "Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024" is the meeting point for the leading figures in Vietnam's golf industry. This year's awards ceremony was attended by a full panel of judges including representatives from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the Department of Physical Education and Sports, the Vietnam Golf Association, Vietnam Golf & Leisure magazine, and notably, the Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Nguyen Trung Khanh. For the first time, the event also featured Spencer Robinson, Director of Communications for the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF), international golf experts, and most of the directors of golf courses, hotels/resorts, and entertainment and service brands serving golfers nationwide.

In his opening remarks at the Awards Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director General of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, highly appreciated the organization of the voting process as well as the accuracy and prestige of the awards at the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards. He also committed that the Vietnam National Tourism Administration has and will continue to strengthen the promotion of tourism in general, and golf tourism in particular, to domestic and international tourists. Furthermore, it will encourage and promote linkages in the development of golf tourism to organize professional tournaments, alongside improving the quality of accompanying resort amenities such as hotels, restaurants, and health care services.

USEFUL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOLF DEVELOPMENT AND GOLF TOURISM
The presence of international experts on this year's judging panel, including Eric Lynge - Senior Advisor for Asia at Sport Insight – a company specializing in conducting surveys and assessments of golf quality worldwide, and Ben Styles - Global Development Director of 54 Group – a global corporation with over 200 experts in 9 countries, provided valuable information and experience for those working in the golf industry.
At the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024, Sport Insight gave an interesting presentation on the global golf tourism landscape. This valuable information will help golf courses better plan and promote their services to attract international golfers to Vietnam.
"Vietnam, once a very small and new golf market, is now becoming well-known for its world-class golf courses. The Vietnam National Tourism Administration urgently needs to promote golf in key overseas markets such as the US/Canada, Japan, and Europe."

HONORING THE BEST-PERFORMING UNITS
Finally, and most importantly, the Announcement and Award Ceremony of the “Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024” officially named the most deserving “winners” of the 24 Golf Course award categories and the 22 Service and Entertainment award categories.

Outperforming over 60 other qualified golf courses, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram was honored with the title of “Best Golf Course in Vietnam 2024”. Additionally, the Queen Course at the Royal Golf Course was recognized as the “Best New Golf Course in Vietnam 2024”. Other courses included in the “Top 10 Best Golf Courses in Vietnam 2024” are: The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram, Hoiana Shores Golf Club, Laguna Golf Lang Co, Legend Danang Golf Resort, KN Golf Links Cam Ranh, Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Royal Golf Course, Legend Valley Country Club, Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort, and FLC Ha Long Golf Club.

Top 10 Best Golf Courses in Vietnam 2024
In the Golf Services category, 22 awards were presented. Besides awards for golf-related hotels and resorts, the organizers also presented awards to golf-themed brands, golf club manufacturers, fashion brands, car brands, banks, airlines, etc., that were most favored by golfers. This year, the organizers expanded the scope of this category with the aim of honoring and promoting not only golf courses but also businesses providing golf-related services.
