The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has just issued an official dispatch agreeing to Chua Me Dat Company Limited to reduce the selling price of the tourism product "Conquering Son Doong - the world's largest cave" to 2,500 USD/person. This discount program applies from May 15, 2020 to December 31, 2021 to implement the 2020-2021 tourism stimulus program after the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. The structure of the selling price of the tourism product includes sightseeing fees, forest environmental services, and other related costs that businesses must pay according to the provisions of law.
Regarding the selling price of two other tourism products: "Hang Va - Hang Nuoc Nut, different experiences" and "Discovering Rao Thuong - Hang En nature", the People's Committee of Quang Binh province encourages businesses to reduce the selling price of tourism products to implement the stimulus program. Accordingly, Chua Me Dat Company Limited will balance the related costs to decide the selling price and comply with the provisions of law.
Previously, on May 5, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province also issued an official dispatch allowing the continued experimental exploitation of the tourism product "Discovering Vom Cave - Gieng Vooc". The People's Committee of Quang Binh province stated that it is necessary to adjust the temporary entrance fee of the 1-day tour route: "Phong Nha Center - Gieng Vooc Cave - Cau Chay Cave - Phong Nha Center" from 200,000 VND to 120,000 VND.
It is known that during the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays, Quang Binh welcomed about 35,000 visitors.
