The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has issued a document approving the request of Chua Me Dat One-Member Limited Company to reduce the price of the "Conquering Son Doong - The World's Largest Cave" tourism product to US$2,500 per person. This discount program will be applied from May 15, 2020 to December 31, 2021 to implement the 2020-2021 tourism stimulus program after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The price structure of the tourism product already includes entrance fees, forest environmental service fees, and other related costs that the enterprise is required to pay according to the law.
Regarding the selling prices of two other tourism products, namely: "Va Cave - Nuoc Nut Cave, unique experiences" and "Exploring Rao Thuong Nature - En Cave," the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee encourages businesses to reduce the selling prices of these tourism products to implement the demand stimulation program. Accordingly, Chua Me Dat One-Member Limited Liability Company will balance the related costs to determine the selling price and implement it in accordance with the law.
Previously, on May 5th, the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee also issued a document allowing the continued trial operation of the "Exploring Vooc Cave - Vooc Well" tourism product. The Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee stated that the temporary entrance fee for the one-day tour route: "Phong Nha Center - Vooc Well Cave - Cau Chay Cave - Phong Nha Center" needs to be adjusted from 200,000 VND down to 120,000 VND.
Reportedly, during the recent April 30th and May 1st holidays, Quang Binh welcomed approximately 35,000 visitors.
