Google reveals the destinations most frequently searched for by Vietnamese travelers seeking flights at the end of the year.

Recently, Google Flights, Google's flight search tool, announced the top 10 most searched destinations for flights by Vietnamese people for the end of 2023. This list is based on flight search data from mid-December 2023 to mid-January 2024 from Vietnamese users, reflecting trends and demand for the year-end travel season.

The list includes four domestic destinations, with Phu Quoc topping the list, followed closely by Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, surpassing popular international destinations for Vietnamese travelers such as Bangkok (Thailand), Tokyo (Japan), Sydney (Australia), Singapore, Siem Reap (Cambodia), and New York (USA).

Another domestic destination making it into the top rankings is Hanoi, the capital city. This indicates that Vietnamese tourists are increasingly prioritizing domestic destinations for their year-end trips.

Alongside Hanoi, Ha Giang, and Da Lat, Phu Quoc is also in the top 5 most romantic autumn destinations in Vietnam, according to a newly released list by Booking.com, thanks to its ideal mild weather in October and November. This is the perfect time for tourists to participate in countless outdoor experiences such as swimming, exploring the islands in the South, kayaking, snorkeling to see coral reefs, visiting pepper gardens and pearl farms, etc.

Besides the traditional experiences mentioned above, Phu Quoc is also considered a top destination in Vietnam due to its many exciting and novel experiences. One of the destinations praised by international media is Sunset Town in the south of the island, described by the South Korean news agency Yonhap as "a unique experience of viewing Mediterranean scenery in a tropical country."
