This year, Vietnam ranks among the top 5 countries with the most participating restaurants, with 49 restaurants nationwide. In Ho Chi Minh City, these include An Minh (Annamite), Cê Moa, Chanh Bistro Rooftop Saigon Calmette, Cocotte Benh Thanh, Cocotte Da Kao, Fresh Catch, L'Escale, L'Olivier (Sofitel), La Crêperie, La Plancha, Le Bordeaux, Le Corto, Mr Y'a Bon, Jane's Bistro, Square One (Park Hyatt), The Mach House, and Social Club (M Gallery).
In Da Nang, there are restaurants like Azzure (Pullman) and La Veranda Grill (Grand Mercure). In Hoi An, there are Faifo Café (Hôtel Royal), L'Annam (Victoria Hotel), and Le Belleville. In Nha Trang, there is The Square (Novotel). In Vung Tau, there is La Riviera (Pullman).

In addition to the main event, a "French-style" dinner at 25 restaurants in Central and Southern Vietnam, several other events centered around French cuisine will take place on March 21, 2019, including:
- From 8:30 - 10:00: French-style breakfast aimed at connecting hotel owners, restaurant owners, and entrepreneurs in the food industry at the French Residence.
- From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Introduction to French culinary training programs in Vietnam at the French Residence.
- From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Workshop “The Golden Key to a Balanced and Healthy Diet” at the Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library. Presenter: Giang Thúy Minh - PhD in Nutrition and lecturer at Hoa Sen University.

In addition, there will be a photo exhibition showcasing typical French cheeses and cured meats. Films about French cuisine will also be screened at IDECAF.
The famous French soufflé Grand Marnier will be featured at Gout de France.
Earlier, at 10:00 AM on March 14, 2019, the French Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will hold a press conference for Gout de France at the French residence (6 Le Duan Street, District 1). At the press conference, Consul General Floreani will introduce the festival. In addition, the talented chef Nguyen Manh Phuc from Le Bordeaux restaurant will personally prepare the famous French Grand Marnier soufflé at the press conference.
