Graffiti is a form of street art that expresses free and boundless creativity. Graffiti artists have breathed life into the dull walls of Russian cities, transforming them into vibrant and colorful spectacles. One example is a graffiti artwork with a 2018 World Cup theme near the Spartak Stadium in Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo, Moscow.

In the city of Kazan, the wall of a three-story house was painted as a graffiti artwork depicting Portuguese national team striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a hat-trick to help Portugal equalize in their opening match against Spain.

A portrait of former Zenit Saint Petersburg football club manager Miguel Danny is painted on a transformer station in the Pushkarskiy garden. Saint Petersburg fans adore the Portuguese midfielder and hope for his return. This graffiti is the work of the art group Hoodgraff.

Mexican street artist Farid Rueda created two striking graffiti pieces in the Russian capital. One depicts the 2018 World Cup mascot, Zabivaka the Wolf, in a powerful and majestic pose at a transformer station near the Luzhniki Stadium.

And before that, Farid Rueda had painted a 30-meter-tall bear on the wall of a high-rise building in just 6 days.
