Hanoi Daewoo is ready to stir up the capital with Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022

Following the success of the press conference marking the return of the German Food & Culture Week at Windsor Plaza Hotel - Ho Chi Minh City, on September 8, Hanoi Daewoo Hotel held a press conference to announce the first expansion of Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022 to Hanoi, at the 5-star swimming pool area - Hanoi Daewoo Hotel.

Back on a larger scale than ever, the city’s most vibrant and exciting event series will start at 6pm every night and run until midnight from September 27 to October 2 in Ho Chi Minh City and from October 6 to 8 in Hanoi. The opening ceremony will kick off with the traditional tapping of the first beer keg with special guests dressed in colorful Bavarian folk costumes.

Mr. Adwin Chong - General Manager of Windsor Plaza Hotel said he was very happy that the Oktoberfest festival was held again after two years of suspension due to the pandemic.

“This will be the most spectacular Oktoberfest festival welcoming everyone in Ho Chi Minh City, and promises to be the party of the year,” he shared.

The annual Oktoberfest Vietnam event recreates the vibrant and unique atmosphere in the vast beer halls of the original Oktoberfest, served with a sumptuous buffet with a variety of German flavors such as sausages, crispy bacon, grilled pork leg, Frikadeller meatballs, donuts, sauerkraut and many other delicious dishes.

In addition, there is a selection of Asian and Vietnamese cuisine, especially a live cooking station with hot, fresh whole roasted veal. And of course, diners can enjoy two premium Schneider Weisse and Krombacher beers imported directly from Germany.

This year’s entertainment and performances are more colorful, including international bands performing traditional Bavarian songs as well as lively contemporary tunes. Add to that the captivating electronic music from DJs and the passionate dances of talented dancers. Guests can also take part in fun activities and exciting games for a chance to win surprise gifts.

Mr. Erwin Popov - General Manager of Hanoi Daewoo Hotel also said that he and all the staff are very excited to bring the unique Oktoberfest Vietnam festival to the Capital.

“2022 marks the first year that Oktoberfest will be held at the iconic outdoor swimming pool of the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel as well as at our Duc Bao Gartenstadt restaurant. Preparations for the three nights of the festival are underway professionally with the support of important sponsors and partners to bring domestic and international customers an unforgettable event with fine cuisine, famous German beer and impressive entertainment and performing arts programs."

Within the framework of the Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022 event, there will also be a lucky draw program that will award many valuable prizes to participants, including a special prize worth 30 million VND from SCB Bank, nightly prizes worth 1 million, 3 million and 5 million VND, and other attractive gift prizes.

Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022 tickets cost VND1,300,000 for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights; VND1,500,000 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
