According to the announcement of the Ministry of Health at the end of July 29, Hanoi has discovered a case. That is patient 447, 23 years old, in Nam Tu Liem. From July 12-15, patient 447 traveled to Da Nang. On July 23, the patient had a fever, cough, fatigue, and self-isolated at home from July 25-28. On July 28, the patient went to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases for examination and treatment. On July 29, the patient received a positive result for nCoV. Authorities identified 83 F1 cases and 310 F2 cases related to this patient.
In addition to "patient 447", Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung said that the city has a second suspected case, also returning from Da Nang. This is a 76-year-old man living on Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Tay Ho District. He went to Da Nang for a visit in mid-July. On July 21-22, he went to Da Nang C Hospital for a check-up, then returned to Hanoi to live normally, without symptoms. Knowing about the announcement of screening cases returning from Da Nang, on the morning of July 29, he went to the Central Tropical Hospital 2 to take a sample for testing and had a positive result for Covid-19.
