To serve the important event of the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center has announced a large-scale public transport plan.
By adding dozens of bus routes and increasing the frequency of operations, the city hopes to create the most favorable conditions for residents and tourists to visit, while minimizing traffic pressure on the exhibition area.
Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center said that to serve people and tourists participating in the Socio-Economic Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the unit has added more bus routes.
According to the announced plan, a total of 20 bus routes will be organized to connect to the Vietnam Exhibition Center, located in Co Loa, Dong Anh. Of these, two existing routes, 43 and E10, will be adjusted, along with the addition of 18 new routes.
A total of 70 buses will be mobilized, making nearly 900 trips per day, forming a network covering six main directions of the city, including routes from Noi Bai airport, the central areas, the East, West, South, and North.
Accordingly, the center will organize 20 additional bus routes, connecting with the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
The additional bus routes will start operating in two phases. From August 12 to September 5, six bus routes will be deployed first to serve the preparation work. Then, from August 28 to September 5, all 12 remaining routes will be put into operation, ensuring maximum public demand during the exhibition. To help people easily recognize, these buses will be equipped with an additional information sign "Vietnam Exhibition Center" right in front.

This exhibition of socio-economic achievements will take place from August 28 to September 5, introducing the country's outstanding achievements over the past 80 years of construction and development. The event will include many thematic exhibition spaces such as "Economic Locomotive" introducing typical state-owned enterprises, or "Start-up to build the nation" honoring national brand private enterprises.
In addition, the exhibition also has areas introducing green industry, digital transformation, the aerospace industry, and cultural industries.
