To serve the momentous event of the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center has announced a large-scale public transport plan.
By adding dozens of bus routes and increasing their frequency, the city aims to provide the most convenient conditions for residents and tourists to visit, while minimizing traffic pressure in the exhibition area.
The Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center announced that to serve the public and tourists attending the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the center has increased the number of bus routes.
According to the announced plan, a total of 20 bus routes will be organized to connect to the Vietnam Exhibition Center, located in Co Loa, Dong Anh. Of these, two existing routes, 43 and E10, will be adjusted, along with the addition of 18 new routes.
A total of 70 buses will be deployed, operating nearly 900 trips per day, forming a network covering six main directions of the city, including routes from Noi Bai Airport, the central areas, and the East, West, South, and North.
Accordingly, the center will organize 20 additional bus routes, connecting with the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
The additional bus routes will begin operating in two phases. From August 12th to September 5th, six routes will be launched as a preliminary step to support preparations. Then, from August 28th to September 5th, all 12 remaining routes will be put into operation, ensuring maximum capacity to meet public demand throughout the exhibition. To help people easily identify them, these buses will be equipped with supplementary signs displaying "Vietnam Exhibition Center" on the front.
Specifically, the route from the city center, starting from 5 points: Cau Giay Transfer Station, Kim Ma - Hao Nam, Hanoi Railway Station, Hanoi University of Technology, Times City urban area, includes 6 routes (routes 43, 43TC, 31TC1, 96TC, 23TC, E08TC).
This exhibition of socio-economic achievements will take place from August 28th to September 5th, showcasing the country's outstanding achievements over 80 years of construction and development. The event will include several thematic exhibition spaces such as "Economic Engines," introducing exemplary state-owned enterprises, and "Startups for Nation Building," honoring national brand private enterprises.
In addition, the exhibition also features areas showcasing green industries, digital transformation, the aerospace industry, and cultural industries. With meticulous investment in content and transportation plans, this event promises to be a memorable experience for the people of the capital.
