At the same time, the locality will strictly manage the shuttle bus service for tourists according to regulations on disease prevention and control. At the end of the journey, the vehicle's surface must be cleaned before continuing to transport. Chau Doc City Medical Center will carry out disinfection spraying at tourist attractions in the Sam Mountain national tourist area according to regulations, and equip public restrooms with disinfectant cleaning tools.
Sam Mountain National Tourist Area includes Ba Chua Xu Temple cluster, Tay An Pagoda and Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb with cable car station inaugurated in April 2021.
Since April 2021, the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area has inaugurated a cable car system with a total length of 900m, taking visitors to the top of the mountain. The cable car station is built in classical European architectural style, along with a unique religious architectural complex such as Duoc Su Temple, One Pillar Pagoda combined with colorful Thangka paintings. With 37 cabins, each cabin can accommodate 8 passengers, the Sam Mountain cable car system can operate continuously 24/7 during holidays.
After visiting the famous sacred relic cluster including Ba Chua Xu Temple, Tay An Pagoda and Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb at the foot of the mountain, visitors can continue to take the cable car to the top. Here, visitors have the opportunity to admire a series of majestic religious works such as the Jade Buddha Temple worshiping the Buddha statue made from a single block of jade, the Quan The Am Bodhisattva Temple and admire the panoramic view of Chau Doc city and neighboring areas, relaxing in the cool, fresh mountain breeze.
