Recently, on the homepage of the American travel magazine Travel+Leisure, Vietnam's ancient town of Hoi An, along with 10 other destinations around the world, was praised for offering many enjoyable experiences at surprisingly reasonable prices.
The article describes Hoi An as one of the most charming ancient towns that seems to have disappeared, yet still retains houses from the 15th century, with numerous temples, shrines, and tea houses scattered throughout its streets.

According to the magazine, thanks to increased air connections between the US and Vietnam, American tourists can book flights to Da Nang, about a 45-minute drive from Hoi An, during the off-season in November to enjoy discounted fares. Three-star hotels in Hoi An are also affordably priced, starting from around $72 per night.

Most recently, the renowned British travel magazine Wanderlust included Vietnam in its list of the 20 best destinations to visit in March. The magazine assessed that the spring weather of March is the ideal time to explore the mountainous regions of Northwest Vietnam.
Furthermore, Time Out, a global magazine specializing in food, travel, and culture, recently rated Hoi An as one of the most romantic destinations in the world.
Besides Hoi An Ancient Town, the other 10 destinations worldwide selected by Travel+Leisure for this list include: Guatemala, Panama City (Panama), Grenadines, Etyek (Hungary), Tunisia, Madeira (Portugal), Brisbane (Australia), Armenia, Alsace (France), and Toronto (Canada).
