Located on Con Hen islet, on the picturesque Hoai River and just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town along Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, the Hoi An Impression Theme Cultural Park is presented as a highlight within the framework of the Hoi An Memories live performance art program. This is a new, innovative tourism product inspired by the 18th-century Hoi An trading port, reflecting the cultural beauty, diversity, and vibrant spirit of one of the busiest international port cities in the region.
To welcome the New Year 2019 and celebrate the 20th anniversary of UNESCO's recognition of Hoi An Ancient Town as a World Cultural Heritage site, a vibrant New Year's Eve celebration with the theme "Illuminating Heritage - Welcoming 2019" took place at the Hoi An Memories stage – the heart of the Hoi An Impression Park.
Illuminating the Heritage Region
Each visitor to the "Memories of Hoi An" live performance receives a lantern, allowing them to light up their own lanterns and share in the joyful atmosphere of Hoi An. The spectacular combination of hot air balloons and the shimmering light of 3,000 lanterns in a sacred space filled with wishes, music, and cheerful dances contributed greatly to the success of this year's show.
A dazzling port space
Hoi An Impression Park welcomes visitors with a lively performance called "The World of Hoi An," featuring joyful dances that transport you to the shimmering light of an ancient trading port. You can freely experience the architecture, art, and cuisine in the trading post areas, Vietnamese village, Chinese village, and Japanese village amidst the vibrant colors of spring. Many traditional folk games in the Vietnamese village and a Ninja Academy in the Japanese village await children and young people to explore.
