The International Travel Survey and Conference - Quang Nam 2025 was held from March 6 to 9, 2025, attracting the participation of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; tourism leaders of some provinces and cities; tourism experts; a number of international delegates: Mr. Ly Xuong Can - Vietnam Tourism Ambassador in Korea, Mr. Peter Carter - Mayor of Port Hedland City - Australia, representative leaders of the Federation of Indian Travel Companies (TAFI); a number of foreign Consulates General in Vietnam such as: China, Russia, Laos; airlines and nearly 250 delegates, tourism businesses, domestic and international travel agencies from the markets: India, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia.

At the International Travel Conference - Quang Nam 2025, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam said: "Quang Nam is an important destination in Vietnam tourism with many world cultural heritages such as Hoi An, My Son, Cu Lao Cham and the art of Bai Choi, along with 19 national intangible cultural heritages... The province owns beautiful coastlines, historical relics, national parks, and outstanding specialties such as Ngoc Linh Ginseng. Although Quang Nam tourism is strongly developing in the Eastern region, the tourism potential in the West, especially the indigenous cultural values, has not been fully exploited. The International Travel Conference - Quang Nam 2025 will be an opportunity to discuss tourism development solutions, announce the East-West connection route of the province and build the green Quang Nam tourism brand on the world tourism map".

In addition, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam also emphasized that the workshop has deployed a survey program "Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven's Gate Heritage Route: Where nature meets culture" attracting nearly 200 delegates who are tourism experts, travel agencies, domestic and international media agencies. The tour program offers the opportunity to experience and explore unique destinations on the route. Thereby, through the actual survey program of this new tourism product, it will attract more and more domestic and international tourists to Quang Nam.
With the goal of creating a forum for exchange to promote tourism development in Quang Nam in general and the western mountainous region of the province in particular, the Workshop will discuss, identify challenges and propose strategic solutions to diversify tourism products, attract domestic and international tourists to Quang Nam, at the same time, announce and introduce the tourist route connecting from East to West (Quang Nam): Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang, expand tourism space, reduce pressure on heritage, connect diverse cultures to attract visitors.
Some of the main activities within the framework of the International Travel Conference - Quang Nam 2025 held on March 8, 2025 at Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area include: (1) Announcing the Decision and awarding the Green Tourism certificate to Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area; (2) Announcing the Decision approving the transport exploitation route on the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route; (3) Awarding the record certificate for the longest dragon-shaped covered corridor across the mountain in Vietnam; (4) Organizing a space to display tourism products and OCOP typical of Quang Nam province; (5) Signing memorandums of understanding on cooperation and development of tourism in Quang Nam and (6) Announcing the new tourism development corridor of Quang Nam province: "Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route: Where nature meets culture" - this is a special activity for the province to increase the attraction of strategic investors to this route, while promoting products and attracting tourists.
Through this new tourism product survey program, more and more domestic and international tourists will be attracted to Quang Nam.
