The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Dao Manh Hung - Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Training Association, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of Training Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and representatives of the General Department of Vocational Training, Tourism Association of Northern Provinces; On the side of Quang Ninh, there was Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Ms. Vu Thi Thu Thuy, leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Ms. Vu Thi Thu Thuy - Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Our country's tourism is increasingly developing and integrating with the world, so training high-quality tourism human resources is extremely necessary with the current tourism situation of our country. Tourism training must "Stick closely to reality" by creating connections between tourism training schools and businesses, from which students can understand what businesses really need and improve their skills. The Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee also hopes that relevant departments and branches regularly organize conferences and seminars to develop the best direction to solve tourism problems, contributing positively to the process of economic restructuring and promoting tourism development.

Prof. Dr. Dao Manh Hung also shares the above view, he believes that in the coming time, training institutions and management agencies need to train high-quality human resources to meet Resolution 08-NQ/TW of the Party on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
In his speech "Strengthening training and developing tourism human resources in the Northern region in the current context", Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Tuan emphasized the potential and strengths of tourism products and tourism human resources that are being paid attention to and the current situation of training high-quality human resources in the tourism industry, thereby proposing some solutions to overcome them. According to Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Tuan, training high-quality human resources needs to focus on 3 solutions such as: state management agencies need to develop a set of vocational skills standards; develop standards for positions and titles in the management apparatus; review and identify human resource development needs; increase the selection of qualified staff, and send them for training abroad in areas that are lacking. For tourism enterprises, it is necessary to coordinate with training institutions to implement training at enterprises; create conditions for students of tourism training institutions to practice skills at the facility; Send experts to participate in activities to develop programs, curricula, learning materials and directly participate in professional exchanges at training institutions. Finally, for training institutions, it is necessary to focus on innovating teaching methods towards competency-based approaches, enhancing professional skills and foreign languages; improving professional and foreign language qualifications for teachers and lecturers; combining training institutions in unifying expertise, professionalism, exchanging and connecting between training institutions.
The conference included 30 papers by authors who were former provincial and municipal leaders, scientists, lecturers, and businessmen in the Northern provinces. All papers expressed their love and enthusiasm for Vietnam tourism and shared the desire to contribute to providing solutions for training high-quality tourism human resources.

At the workshop, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Tourism - Mr. Trinh Dang Thanh mentioned the current situation of human resource training in Quang Ninh which is not yet strict, infrastructure has not yet met tourism needs,... and proposed some solutions, hoping that in this workshop, bottlenecks will be found to overcome.

From the perspective of the trainer, representative of Ha Long University, Mr. Tran Trung Vy, analyzed quite specifically about issues such as: Teaching staff, training programs, facilities, and especially connecting students with employers with the desire to improve training issues, so that students can receive the most accurate skills.
The workshop was organized with the aim of providing solutions to overcome the problem of human resource training. To be able to train high-quality tourism human resources to meet the needs of international integration in general and integration in the ASEAN community in particular is not easy for tourism training establishments. However, with the participation of training establishments, state management agencies, and tourism enterprises, it is certain that in the coming time, Vietnam's tourism training will best meet the requirements of domestic employers and can be "exported" to regional and world markets.
