AnnaBo Nam Hoi An is not just a simple resort homestay. For founder Tran Vu Hai and his brother Minh Tien, who has accompanied him throughout the development journey, this place is also the "second home" of the whole family. The idea of AnnaBo was born in 2016, when the two brothers returned to Cua Khe village and discovered a series of abandoned level four houses near the sea. The reason is mainly due to harsh natural conditions: sea winds, storms, floods and erosion, causing residents to gradually move inward, leaving behind a sea area with few human footprints but full of potential.
In the eyes of many, this place may be just a forgotten land. But for Mr. Hai, it is the starting point of a journey full of challenges and love. One of the abandoned houses was renovated by him, keeping the original rustic structure, while adding modern amenities to serve tourists. From an old tiled roof, faded walls, the house was revived not in the direction of "luxury architecture" but in the true sense of a "family beach house" close, simple and cozy.
Homestay near the beach
The name "AnnaBo" is a combination of the English name and the affectionate nickname of Mr. Hai's first daughter. Anna is the English name and "Bo" is the sweet and affectionate name at home, becoming a symbol of the freshness, youthfulness and loving spirit of this space. That name, when read aloud, makes anyone smile - like a gentle greeting from the sea.
"We want visitors to feel the warmth and familiarity of returning to their own home, not just a normal resort. With an area of nearly 1,000 m² and a prime location right next to the beach, AnnaBo has 7 bedrooms, enough to serve up to 16 guests. Each room has large open windows, welcoming the sea breeze and natural light, making the space always airy and pleasant. From the premises to each piece of furniture, it aims for familiarity, like one's own home, where one can walk barefoot on the brick floor, cook in the kitchen, or sit on the porch watching the sea at sunset.

For Mr. Minh Tien, who has directly participated in the construction of AnnaBo since the beginning, this journey comes with many challenges. Sea breeze and high humidity are two factors that cause rapid wear and tear on construction materials. Therefore, instead of using iron or complex electronic devices, priority is given to durable, environmentally friendly materials such as wood from old ships, traditional gas stoves, or mechanical washing machines - simple choices but bring long-term efficiency and are easy to maintain.
Even the interior decoration follows the principle of authenticity and simplicity, not too many elaborate details, not following the decor trend but prioritizing the cozy, lively feeling as if the house has been there for a long time, just waiting for people to return.
