A place to return to.
The opportunity for Ms. Tran Thi Minh Thu and her husband (from Hanoi) to find their way to Binh Dinh and start building Lườiii Homestay came about quite by chance. “My husband and I are both ordinary office workers. Previously, whenever we went on vacation, we liked to stay in fancy hotels and resorts. But later, we realized that those places only last a few days before we get bored and want to go home, so we built Lườiii as a place to return to.”
Thu's three children are very fond of the sea, and every time they return from a trip, they wish they could stay longer. After their 2023 summer vacation at a small homestay near Ganh Da Dia, the children became even more attached to the ocean. Seeing the children tanned, healthy, and happy, Thu decided to build a small house by the sea so her children could have beautiful childhood memories. And just two months later, that dream became a reality when her family acquired the land, and Lườiii Homestay officially opened at the end of April 2024.

Building the homestay faced some difficulties from the start, as the initial design ideas weren't what she had hoped for. After purchasing the land, finding a suitable design firm cost Ms. Thu a considerable amount of time and money. Fortunately, she was finally satisfied with the second design project and decided to proceed.
The geographical distance made supervising the construction process difficult. But thanks to the help of the housekeeper, Ms. Thu felt completely at ease. She was not only the manager but also a trustworthy companion. Ms. Thu shared that every little corner of Lườiii Homestay holds memorable moments, and she is very happy to share this space with everyone.

Lườiii Homestay is designed in a cozy Mediterranean style, just like your own home. With 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, and 1 shared kitchen, it's the ideal space for families and friends to gather. Each bedroom is airy and offers expansive views of the vast blue sea. Therefore, the living space focuses only on essential amenities to provide a comfortable and relaxing feeling.
“When building Lườiii, I thought for a long time about what to name it. Then, on the day Lườiii was about to have its roof poured, I visited Home. That afternoon, I had lunch at a restaurant right by the sea. The place was simple, just a few tables and chairs and some hammocks. After eating, I lay in the hammocks – oh my god, it was so relaxing! At that moment, I thought, 'Life should be like this, what greater pleasure could there be?' So I decided to name Home Lườiii. At Lườiii, you just need to be lazy, lie in a hammock, lie on the sandy beach listening to the waves and watching the clouds drift by to see how beautiful life is…,” Thu confided.

Lườiii Homestay is located in Phù Mỹ District, Bình Định Province. Few people know that right next to the bustling city of Quy Nhơn lies the peaceful island district of Phù Mỹ. Unlike the more familiar beaches, Phù Mỹ retains its pristine and natural beauty. Here, you can immerse yourself in nature, enjoy the fresh air, and discover picturesque beaches. Especially, the friendliness and simplicity of the local people will make you feel incredibly warm. Here, you won't find high fences or locked gates; instead, you'll see houses with open doors and children playing freely. The stories of unlocked motorbikes and children's toys left outside have become a characteristic feature of this region.
At Lườiii Homestay, you'll have the chance to experience a completely different way of life. Every morning, you'll wake up to the sunrise over the sea, listen to the gentle sound of waves, and watch fishing boats dock. Just a short walk will take you to a small fish market where you can buy fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Around the homestay, there are also many interesting destinations waiting to be explored, from pristine beaches to ancient lighthouses. However, be prepared, because you might be so captivated by the beauty of this place that you won't want to leave.

"I didn't build Lườiii as a tourist destination, but rather with the desire to be a place of relaxation for families and young people who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. Therefore, I think the best impression Lườiii can leave on people is its peacefulness, its fresh air, its crystal-clear beach, and its honest and simple people," Ms. Thu said.
One of the great things about staying at Lườiii Homestay is enjoying delicious meals skillfully prepared by the housekeeper. Simply make your request, and a lavish meal will be served immediately. The enticing aroma of the dishes always makes Thu's children restless, constantly hovering around the kitchen waiting for mealtime. Binh Dinh cuisine is already famous far and wide, and at this homestay, you'll get to experience the full, distinctive flavors of this region. Don't forget to prepare some small change because the food here is delicious and incredibly cheap; you can enjoy a satisfying meal for only 5-10 thousand dong.

The climate here is quite pleasant, with only two rainy months: November and December. During the rest of the year, you can enjoy swimming, the golden sunshine, and the cool sea breeze. However, if you visit Lườiii Homestay between November and March, remember to bring warm clothing and limit children's time in the sea to avoid catching a cold.
“Lườiii is like a rest stop for people to return to and relax. We will only improve the landscaping, trees, and amenities so that people truly feel at home, and we have no intention of developing anything further. Lườiii will always remain a small house in the fishing village, not a small neighborhood or a small hotel in the fishing village,” added Ms. Thu.
