Pham Quynh Anh is the founder of the Neverland de papillons homestay. She is also the owner of the Padma de Fleur flower shop which has been operating for nearly 12 years in Ho Chi Minh City. Neverland de papillons homestay is located in An Hoa ward, Sa Dec city, Dong Thap province. Built in the middle of a vast field, behind is a clear canal and a large flower garden, Neverland de papillons also offers many activities for visitors to experience when coming to the Western countryside.

With a total area of 1,500 m2, the garden occupies 1,000 m2and the small house is packed in 500 m2Neverland de papillons has 5 rooms and the rest is planted with many kinds of fragrant flowers and plants to satisfy the dream of the homestay owner.
Located on a large plot of land, Ms. Quynh Anh still chooses to keep the natural features, all rooms have a view of the rice fields. The fresh natural atmosphere fills every corner of the room, bringing positive energy to visitors when they come to experience here.

The 5 rooms of Neverland de papillons are all named after flowers: Gardenia, Jasmin, Padma, Magnolia, Tuberose. The largest is the Gardenia room with an area of 40 m2. Each room is filled with the scent of each type of flower, bringing a feeling of comfort, peace and tranquility.

The owner of Neverland de papillons has cleverly designed wooden furniture with a strong Western style so that visitors can have the most authentic countryside experience. Talking to Travellive, Ms. Quynh Anh smiled and said: “I think what people like after coming to Neverland de papillons is that the homestay is surrounded by nature and fields, and there are not many houses built close together. When living in the city with a busy lifestyle, coming to Sa Dec feels very comfortable in a space filled with nature like this. The photos taken also do not show the whole view of the homestay, when people come here, they are surprised because the house is nearly 9 m high. With such a high ceiling, it really satisfies the desire for a high house and a wide door.”

Neverland officially opened in 2019. The entire project was completed within 1 year with a total cost of about 5 billion VND.
“The first year was affected by the pandemic, everything seemed to be delayed. But I feel very lucky. In 2020, Vietnamese people did not travel abroad, so they traveled domestically, so the homestay still maintained a good number of guests. In 2021, people can travel abroad more, but it seems that the trend and habit of traveling domestically is also increasing, so it is still stable and the number of guests is very good,” said Ms. Quynh Anh.
In addition, at Neverland de papillons, visitors have countless recreational activities in harmony with nature. You will experience interesting activities of the Western rivers such as: bathing in the canal, when the water level goes down, go crab hunting, gardening, flower arranging, cycling on the peaceful village roads, rowing, watching the rice fields and especially there are also buoys floating on the water, allowing you to freely live virtually and "chill" in the vast nature... When asked about the story of opening a homestay while being the owner of a famous flower shop in Saigon, Ms. Quynh Anh said: “Every year I go to Sa Dec several times, at least once to see the trees and flowers. One time, he accidentally took me to buy trees on a piece of rice field that was for sale. When I went in to see it, I found the place very romantic, because it was the flood season so the whole area was covered in water. Then I noticed a bouquet of flowers floating on the water, which looked very cute, so I decided to buy it. At first, I planned to turn the rice field into a garden, but if I just stopped at gardening, there would be no maintenance costs, and at least when I visited the garden, there would have to be a hut. Then, to maintain it, I decided to build many rooms and form a homestay.”
The name Neverland de papillons means "flowers and butterflies flying around". Neverland is a land that is unreal, non-existent, magical, dreamy, and everything will never stop growing old.

“I don’t know much about the West. Maybe that’s why I look at the West and Sa Dec from an outsider’s perspective. Sa Dec is charming and romantic in a hot way because of the tropical weather. When I chose to buy the land and build a house there, maybe I myself had already entered a different state and no longer liked the sad romantic direction but completely changed to the bright, positive romantic direction. All of these conditions made the house seem special,” Ms. Quynh Anh shared.
