Instead of appearing with the familiar image of a famous actor, Hua Vi Van recently "debuted" before the public as a "young artist", a person passionate and determined to pursue Painting.
Following the success of "Peaceful Zone" and "Dream Zone", Hua Vi Van's third solo exhibition - "Phu Hoa" - displays a series of paintings he created during the peak of the pandemic in late 2021, with the theme revolving around the festive atmosphere and community that we almost lost during the time of social distancing. Using colors that evoke the spirit of chaos, crowds and noise, Hua Vi Van wants to recreate the feeling of "human" events - events that are taken for granted - that are suddenly ended.
The exhibition runs until April 3, after which the works will be displayed online on Artcific's website.
His works attempt to capture, to simulate in some way the joy of crowding and the joy of human togetherness, a regretful “old normal” when everyone had not yet fallen into a state of isolation.
Despite his desire to express positive emotions, Hua Vi Van’s works still cannot hide a part of his confinement and anxiety in the details. At the time of creation, he was forced to return and immerse himself, naming a need for “meeting”, “intimacy” that everyone is experiencing.

Not only a visual experience, the exhibition also offers the audience an audio experience, from which visitors will be able to listen to the author's sharing about the art creation process on the audio social network platform Genie when scanning the QR code under the works.

As a professional actor and film producer, as well as a former model and singer, Hua Vi Van has achieved many successes in his artistic career. But under the shadow of painting, Hua Vi Van considers himself only at the starting stage of his career with a brush. He returned to painting with the mindset of an Art student, a time when he was initially full of enthusiasm, freedom and easily inspired to create.
Many artist friends came to support Hua Vi Van's exhibition "Vanity".
Through this exhibition, the actor hopes that the audience can see a completely different Hua Vi Van behind the halo. He also said that the revenue from the exhibition will be used entirely for charity fundraising purposes, after deducting expenses for partners.
