"300 km" is a solo exhibition by Bao Zoan, featuring photographs taken during his visits to Da Lat city (Lam Dong province) from 2015 to 2021. Through "300 km," he shares his reflections on his time seeking simple things, leaving behind the hectic pace of urban life.

Between 2015 and 2021, Bao Zoan observed the continuous changes and development of Da Lat; however, the city still retains its simple yet poetic beauty, with its natural landscapes and surviving ancient architecture. Furthermore, the tranquil lives of its people contribute to a unique, distinctly "Da Lat" charm in the eyes of visitors.

Photographer Bao Zoan further shared: "Da Lat is a place teetering between dreams and reality. People from afar bring with them the illusion of a Da Lat like a fairyland, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery. Those in Da Lat, however, continue to live their simple, everyday lives, carefree amidst nature and the architectural and urban planning remnants from the previous century."
These two extremes, seemingly opposite, are intertwined and blended together, creating a unique atmosphere in Da Lat today that is difficult to appreciate if you only visit for a few days and then leave."

Interestingly, the photographs from the "300 km" exhibition are displayed in a space that is "perfectly suited to the point of being irreplaceable"—a small cafe in the heart of Saigon. There, visitors can feel a sense of familiarity and a flood of nostalgic memories—of times spent immersed somewhere in an attic, a small corner, or a misty area of Da Lat—and then suddenly realize they are 300 km away from that dreamy land.
