On February 5, a representative of the People's Committee of A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province, said that the district is calling on individuals and organizations from all over to support used peach trees during the 2022 Lunar New Year to build and develop peach forests in the highlands.
According to the representative of the People's Committee of A Luoi district, the idea of planting peach gardens in the highlands began to be realized after the Lunar New Year 2021. Immediately after that, many people responded to the call and participated in donating peach trees.

The weather in Hue City is hotter than in A Luoi District, so peach trees are difficult to grow for a long time after Tet and are often thrown away by people. Therefore, the leaders of A Luoi District contacted the leaders of Hue City Party Committee and the Green Park Company to ask for the trees that people intended to throw away and bring them to A Luoi District for trial planting.
After a year of testing, the peach garden has become one of the places that attracts many locals and tourists to visit and take photos. In the first days of the Lunar New Year 2022, dozens of peach trees in the garden bloomed brilliantly, attracting many visitors, especially young people.

The call “Instead of throwing away, give Tet peach trees to A Luoi district” continues this year with the aim of replicating the peach forest model. People who send peach trees can send them to the park next to the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Le Loi - Tran Thuc Nhan Street, Hue City.
