Official data on the number of tourists to Vietnam in the first quarter of 2024 has just been released by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, with an impressive figure of 4.6 million international visitors. This is a positive sign as the number of tourists surpassed the pre-pandemic level of the same period. Notably, the number of tourists from South Korea, a potential and important tourism market of Vietnam, is leading.
In addition to information from the General Statistics Office, the travel platform Agoda also revealed something remarkable: Korean tourists' "falling in love" with Vietnam's fine sand beaches and clear blue sea. Specifically, the top four destinations that Korean tourists love are Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hoi An and Phu Quoc. These are famous places with beautiful natural scenery, high-class resorts and diverse and attractive tourist activities.

However, it is worth noting that Ho Chi Minh City only ranked fifth in the list of most favorite destinations for Korean tourists. This may reflect Korean tourists' interest in resort experiences and natural landscapes rather than crowded and bustling cities.
