The town of Obidos, located about an hour and a half's drive northwest of Lisbon, is home to around 3,000 people. There are very few hotels in this medieval town of Obidos, and the Little Man Hotel is one of them.
In fact, the entire Literary Man hotel is a bookstore, and the owner and staff cherish their book collection immensely. You can see stacks of books everywhere in the hotel grounds, covering entire walls.

According to the hotel's owners, they are proud of their collection of over 45,000 books. When they opened their doors last October, the hotel set a goal of having 100,000 books by the end of this year. There's a selection for every book lover: from classic literature to recipe books, fantasy, fiction, historical excavations, and travel guides to destinations around the world...

Not only is the hotel attractive because of its book collection, but it also draws visitors thanks to its location. During the day, guests can explore Obidos, stroll along the ancient streets, choose a local specialty drink, or shop for unique products made by local artisans.

The Little Man Hotel is located right on the main road, making it extremely convenient for guests who want to go out and socialize with the locals. When the sun sets, guests can return to the hotel to seek out new and exciting experiences.

The cocktail lounge and restaurant, where each cocktail or dish is named after a literary legend, with comfortable leather chairs and soft lighting, is the perfect place for travelers wanting to enjoy their leisure time with a favorite book in hand. If you want to treat yourself to a solo dinner at the restaurant, a book would be the perfect companion.
