Recently, Universal Studios announced the opening of a trial run of its mega-park in Tongzhou District (Beijing, China) starting September 1st, after three months of rotational operation. The park features various entertainment options for tourists, including Universal Studio theme park and Universal CityWalk.
Construction began in 2016, and Universal Studios has received strong support from the Chinese government, including the opening of several major subway lines that run directly to the mega-park.

Comprising seven themed lands with 37 rides, this will be the fifth Universal Studios theme park in the world. Prior to China, the park had already been built in several popular locations in Singapore, Osaka, Los Angeles, and Orlando.
Currently, Universal Studios Beijing is the world's largest theme park. In the near future, the park will continue to conduct trial runs of some attractions, inviting visitors to explore for free instead of selling tickets. Some partner companies and media outlets will be invited to experience these attractions.

In addition to popular rides and shows, the park will also feature numerous restaurants, exhibition areas, rest areas, and two large hotels. Furthermore, this project will also include the construction of additional facilities for Universal's other Asian parks in Japan and Singapore.
Amidst the resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic in many Chinese cities, the park has implemented stricter safety measures such as requiring visitors to wear masks, checking body temperature, maintaining social distancing, and disinfecting the area.
