The Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards was launched in 2015 by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE and Tom Sullam to celebrate the beauty of the natural world and promote wildlife conservation through their fun, innocent nature. It is a free competition open to both professional and amateur photographers.
"We were overwhelmed by the number and quality of entries this year, with over 7,000 images from all over the world. Given the impact of the pandemic, this is an incredible result," said Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE.
Let's take a look at some of the "funny" photos that made it to the final round of the contest:

"The large number of photos we receive each year demonstrates people's desire to get involved in wildlife conservation, and also demonstrates the wonder and fun of the wild world. Because of that, we need to take action to protect it," said Paul Joynson-Hicks, the contest's representative.
The winning results will be announced on the website.Comedy Wildlife Photography Awardson October 22nd.
