The Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards, launched in 2015 by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE and Tom Sullam, aims to celebrate the beauty of the natural world and promote wildlife conservation through the playful and spontaneous nature of animals. It is a free competition open to both professional and amateur photographers.
"We were overwhelmed by the quantity and quality of entries this year, with over 7,000 photos from all over the world. Given the impact of the pandemic, this is an incredible result," shared Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE.

"The sheer volume of photos we receive each year demonstrates people's desire to participate in wildlife conservation, and also clearly shows the wonder and joy of the wild world. Therefore, we need to act to protect them," shared Paul Joynson-Hicks, a representative of the competition.
